Terms of sale
These terms apply to sales made on this site between Thomas Piot, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel), trading as “Villa Lenta” (55 rue de la Duchesse d’Uzès, 78120 Rambouillet, France, SIRET 103 229 928 00017, thomaspiot78@gmail.com, +33 7 68 47 62 68), and any consumer. Version of 20 October 2026. The French version prevails.
1. Pieces
Pieces are described on their page (composition, fit, care) as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen. Product images are realistic simulations of the finished piece.
2. Prices
Prices are in euros, all taxes included (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code). Delivery costs are shown before payment. The price that applies is the one displayed when you order.
3. Order and payment
An order is confirmed once these terms are accepted and payment is complete. Payment is processed by Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay depending on your device). We never see your card details. You then receive a confirmation e-mail with your order, a link to these terms and the withdrawal form.
4. Making and delivery
Each piece is printed or embroidered to order by our partner Printful in its European workshops, then shipped with tracking to France, Monaco and anywhere in the European Union. Allow 2 to 5 working days for making and 3 to 7 working days for shipping, usually 5 to 12 working days in total.
We commit to delivering no later than 30 days after your order. The piece travels at our risk until you receive it.
If it has not been delivered by then, you can ask us by e-mail to deliver it within a reasonable additional period. If that period passes without delivery, you can cancel the order by writing to us: we refund everything you paid within 14 days of the cancellation. You can also cancel straight away if we refuse to deliver, or if the delivery date was essential to you and you told us so in writing before ordering.
5. Right of withdrawal
You have 14 days from receiving your order to withdraw, without giving a reason. If it arrives in several parcels, this period runs from receipt of the last one. The pieces are not personalised at your request, so they are not excluded from this right.
To withdraw, tell us before the period ends with a clear statement sent to thomaspiot78@gmail.com or to 55 rue de la Duchesse d’Uzès, 78120 Rambouillet, France. You may use the form below, but you do not have to.
Then send the piece back within 14 days of telling us, to the address we give you. Return costs are yours. You can try it on as you would in a fitting room; if it has been worn or washed, we may deduct its loss in value.
We refund everything you paid, including the original delivery cost (standard rate), within 14 days of your request, using your original payment method. We may wait until we receive the piece or you send proof of shipping, whichever comes first.

6. Warranties
French law requires your guarantees to be presented in the following terms (translated from the French).
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to obtain the application of the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only has to establish that the lack of conformity exists, not the date on which it appeared.
Where the contract of sale of the goods provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service over a period of more than two years, the legal guarantee applies to that digital content or digital service throughout the planned supply period. During this period, the consumer only has to establish that the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service exists, not the date on which it appeared.
The legal guarantee of conformity obliges the trader, where applicable, to supply all updates needed to keep the goods in conformity.
The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience.
If the goods are repaired under the legal guarantee of conformity, the consumer benefits from a six-month extension of the original guarantee.
If the consumer asks for the goods to be repaired but the seller imposes a replacement, the legal guarantee of conformity is renewed for two years from the date of replacement.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while keeping the goods, or end the contract and be refunded in full in exchange for returning the goods, if:
1. the trader refuses to repair or replace the goods;
2. the repair or replacement takes place after thirty days;
3. the repair or replacement causes the consumer major inconvenience, in particular where the consumer permanently bears the cost of taking back or removing the non-conforming goods, or bears the cost of installing the repaired or replacement goods;
4. the lack of conformity persists despite the seller’s unsuccessful attempt to bring the goods into conformity.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to terminate the contract where the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or termination. The consumer is then not required to ask for repair or replacement first.
The consumer is not entitled to terminate the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the goods are immobilised for repair or replacement suspends the remaining guarantee period until the goods are delivered back in working order.
The rights above result from articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code (code de la consommation).
A seller who in bad faith obstructs the application of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to €300,000, which may be raised to 10% of average annual turnover (article L. 241-5 of the French Consumer Code).
The consumer also benefits from the legal guarantee against hidden defects under articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code, for two years from discovery of the defect. This guarantee entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the goods are kept, or to a full refund in exchange for returning them.
If a piece does not conform, you choose between repair and replacement (article L217-9 of the French Consumer Code). We can only set your choice aside if it is impossible or disproportionately costly, and we would tell you why in writing. For a printed or embroidered garment this means, in practice, a replacement: we remake the piece at our expense, return included.
To use a guarantee, write to thomaspiot78@gmail.com with your order number and a photo of the defect.
7. Complaints
For any complaint, write to thomaspiot78@gmail.com, or by post to 55 rue de la Duchesse d’Uzès, 78120 Rambouillet, France.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law, without depriving you of the mandatory protections of your country of residence.
